The majority of our funding comes from the District Health Boards, however, they dictate how this money can be used. Therefore we are dependant on donors to fund activities not covered by the DHBs such as replacing assets, supporting the volunteers and publishing our newsletter.
Besides using members funds for volunteers, the newsletter, the library etc., this year we are assisiting peer support, advocacy, changing our brochures and holding special workshops. Much of this we are funding ourselves.
If you wish to make a donation, please include your name and address and we will post a tax rebate receipt back to you acknowledging your donation.
To those who have made a generous donation, thank you. Your contribution is helping to make a difference in the work that we do with families/whanau across Auckland and Northland. We appreciate your interest in and support of Supporting Families in Mental Illness (Auckland) Inc.
