Arts Access Aotearoa (NZ) - Arts Access Aotearoa | Whakahauhau Katoa o Hanga was established in 1995 as a charitable trust. It aims to provide access to the arts for those who have been marginalised by the mainstream because of their circumstances. The Maori name translates as "encouraging all to create". As a national organisation, we work to increase artistic opportunities for our key stakeholders: disabled people, disconnected youth, senior citizens, mental health service users, prisoners, disadvantaged migrants and refugees.
Essentially Men (NZ) - Welcome to Essentially Men, the site for information about the Essentially Men Workshops and associated support actvities and services for men. Essentially Men events support men to break isolation and connect more fully to their identity as men. In doing so they become more available to their families, loved ones and communities, and more in touch with their purpose.
Independent Endeavours - Walsh Trust (NZ) - This service offers workshops and individualised support for people who want to enhance their life skills and develop confidence in their ability to cope and participate in the community or the workplace. We provide support to people who wish to increase their self awareness, increase their understanding and gain greater self-reliance to lead a more independent lifestyle. This free service is for those people between the age of 16-65 with experience of mental illness.
Inner City Womens Group (NZ) - The Inner City Women's Group was established in May 1988 by Auckland Women's Refuge as a support group for the partners of men attending Anger Management programmes. After initial meetings it was decided that the Women's support groups would be available to the wider community. The Inner City Women's Group became incorporated as an Independent Charitable Trust on the 16th December 1993 and has a collective structure.
