HealthLINKSAuckland City Mission (NZ) - Since 2004, Auckland City Mission has provided a free weekly medical service at the Hobson Street site. Managed by the Auckland City Mission, the Calder Centre is a member of the Auckland Primary Health Organisation. The centre is open to the general public, and in particular the homeless, very low-income dwellers in central city apartments, families and individuals in crisis, elderly people and clients with mental health concerns, and those with alcohol and other drug related problems. Due to barriers such as lack of finances, trust issues, cultural issues, and very chaotic lifestyles many of these clients do not have a regular access to a GP. Everybody (NZ) - The everybody editorial team believes that the development of consumer health information requires input from consumers, writers and professionals. We endeavour to work with established consumer organisations wherever possible and to publish information relevant to the people they represent. All titles include information on where New Zealanders can go for additional information and support. Professional reviewers are chosen with regard to their area of expertise and the topic being developed. Healthwest (NZ) - Welcome to HealthWEST, the Primary Health Organisation (PHO) for West Auckland. Here you can find information about us - who we are, what we are about, and how we fit into the New Zealand health system. Relevant news items, publications, and answers to frequently asked questions can be found here, as well as locations, contact details and information regarding each of our member practices.
